Riley Lee Tyree, 84, Glasgow, died Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late James I. Tyree and Sylvia Pearl Coulter Tyree. He was a retired truck driver; a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church; a member of the Allen Lodge # 24 F. & A. M. for more than 50 years; and a veteran having served with the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife Emma Jean Hagan Tyree; two children: Eric Tyree and wife Paula of Smiths Grove and Bonnie Chaffin and husband Garry of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren: Joshua Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Zach Chaffin, Cody Chaffin, Matt Tyree, Courtney Livingston, and Jessica Peters; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Irene Pitcock, Ruth Matthews, and Carolyn Sue Wood.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Burial with military honors provided by Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will be in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home. The public is invited to attend Masonic services at 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
