Sheila Fay Compton, 71, Glasgow, died Monday, January 31, 2022 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of California, she was the daughter of the late Prentice Melton and Mary Morgan Melton Constant. She was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk at Big Star, Collier’s IGA, and Minit Mart stores. She was a dedicated member of the House of Prayer in Edmonton.

Survivors include three children: Tina Lynn Compton, Kevin Compton (Tina), and Shannon Compton (Vanessa) all of Glasgow; eleven grandchildren: Candy Compton, Nick Compton, Dylan Compton, Sarah Compton, Alyssa Bull, Claire Bull, Addison Compton, Mila Compton, Chris Page, Jackie Page, and James Page; six great-grandchildren: Maelyn Compton, Evelyn Compton, John Houston Mayhew, Ivory Lee Stinnett, Faith Ann Page, and Serenity Page; one sister: Donna Lawson; four brothers: Don Melton (Annette), Howard Compton (Sheila), Kenny Constant (Carissa), and T J Constant (Jessica); several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Kenneth Compton; and three children: Lesa Compton, Kelly Compton, and Todd Compton.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the House of Prayer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
