Bonnie Sue Copass, 79, Glasgow, Kentucky, Passed away peacefully, Friday, April 12, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Louisville and was the daughter of the late John and Zelda Alvey Prechtel. She was a member of Saint Helens Catholic Church.
She is survived by her Son Darrel Copass (Shannon); five grandchildren: Jessica Vanburen (Thomas Lively), Dakota Copass (Brianna), Michael Vanburen (Jesse), Christopher Copass, and Sarah Copass; three great-grandchildren: Ivy Vanburen, Asaiah Copass, and Athena Copass; Brother John Richard Prechtel (Diana): Sister Gwendolin Receveur (Bruce); one sister-in-law: Pam Copass; the Johnson and Chapman families and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Darrel Leon Copass; brother Clyde Prechtel; sister Nancy Seipp; great-granddaughter Sahara Copass.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00pm Wednesday at the funeral Home.
Were so sorry about your all’s loss of Ms. Bonnie she was really a very sweet lady I’ve missed her every since she had taken I’ll the last time I spoke to her was day before her Birthday I told her that everything was gonna be alright and I loved her she said I love you to Spanky ? you will never be forgotten just miss seeing you coming down the drive way going over to miss Rose house, God makes no mistakes so now get your rest sweet queen until we meet up again ?? you sweetheart
