Gayle Wilkinson

Gayle Beth Wilkinson, 57, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 following a brief illness.  Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana she was the daughter of the late William Edward “Tate” Wilkinson and Marilyn Foxworthy Wilkinson.

Following graduation from Glasgow High School in 1985, Gayle pursued and received her college degree, meanwhile working as a developer at her family’s business, Wilderness Studio.  She was a member of Glenview Christian Church and a Mindfulness Group that met monthly.

For the past several years, Gayle has been actively serving as a Vet Tech at BRAWA in Glasgow.  It was one of her passions to be involved with animals and their well-being, often animal sitting for others.  She always remained active, seeing that she was an outdoorsy person who loved to hike, kayak, and work with her flowers.  When not doing things outside, she would be busy with catering, photography, crafting, painting, watching basketball, or following the Royal Family.

Survivors include a god-child Morgan Vanduyn and her daughter Alexis Waldridge; two sisters: Jena Pace and Lee Ann Birge (Rodney); two brothers: Les Wilkinson (Denise) and Will Wilkinson II; her special canine companion Duch; several special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Steven Wilkinson and one brother-in-law Richard Pace.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow.  Visitation will begin at 12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.  The family requests that alternate expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations to BRAWA.
