Jerry McCoy

          Jerry Michael McCoy II, 57, of Glasgow, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023 at home following a short illness.  Jerry was a graduate of Glasgow High School and had attended the University of Kentucky.  He was a retired press operator at R R Donnelley & Sons and presently was employed at Lowe’s of Glasgow.

          Jerry had a number of interests which include his continuing to be a fan of UK sports, playing golf, and playing corn hole.  He also enjoyed cooking, reading, and bird watching.  One of his larger interests was his show dogs that were German Short-haired Pointers.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

          Survivors include his wife Tina Rutledge McCoy; his step-mother, Martha Carol McCoy; his mother Mary Hall Goodman (Joe); three aunts: Carolyn Manis (Buck), Charlene Wisdom (Barry), and George Ann McCoy (John O’Connor); two sisters: Julie Dickinson (Sam Day) and Jill Ordynans (Zack); step-children: Tyler Brown (Jessica Felts), Ben Brown, Jessica Brown-Mansfield (Jake) and their children; four cousins: Cara Carter (Wes), Blake Manis, Broner McCoy (Stacy), and Stacey McCoy (Joanna).

          He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Michael “Mike” McCoy and one brother Marc McCoy.

          Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
