David L. Hayes
February 15, 1946 ~ September 20, 2022
David L. Hayes, 76, of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was a son of the late Sidney Anderson and Ruby Mae Sturgeon Hayes. He loved and had great pride in his family and enjoyed loved working everyday.
He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Ann Hatcher Hayes; two daughters: Dana Kerr and Donna Hatcher (Sam); one son: Kevin Hayes (Emily) six grandchildren: Kimberly Hayes, Courtney Hayes, Christopher Hatcher, Jessie Hatcher, Sarah Hayes and Michelle Hatcher; one great-grandchild: Lakelynn Childress; one sister Elsie Mae Hayes Hogan (Wesley); several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Lillie Mae Hughes and Loraine Mouldon.
Funeral will be 1:00 pm Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home and after 9:00 am Sunday until time for services.

I am truly sorry for the passing of your husband and father! My prayers are with you and family as I’m hurting as well because this to is my father and there are two other sisters and a son .And yes we are his childern but as the past your trying keep us from him even in his death . But I know how dad felt he told me.But I know I will see him again and I know he is with Teresa in heaven . He could not attend her funeral because of the hell he would have had to listen to.But see you can’t keep him from her anymore because the Lord has control. Not you! You knew he had children by Mattie and if you you were a real woman and loved him as you said you did you would have accepted us and treated as your own . Will say and extra prayer for you . I know the the Lord will judge you when it’s your time . Again I’m truly sorry that he has passed !!! Rip dad we love you!!!!
