John Daniel Ragle, 65, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Glasgow Kentucky August 1, 1955 a son of the late Norman Oloh Ragle and Mayme Alice Britt Ragle. He was retired from Dana Corporation; he enjoyed building, painting, fixing up cars and watching boxing.

He is survived by two daughters: Lorie Morrison and Candice Simpson (Ryan); one grandchild: Christy LeeAnn Morrison; seven sisters: Norma Hale, Ruth Smith, Lois Akin, Wanda Smith, Juanita Kirby, Beverly Thomas (Jerry) and Betty Jo Landrum (John); one brother: James Ragle (Joan); several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Steven Ragle, Gerald Ragle and Hershel Ragle.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Sunday at the funeral home until time for services.

In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are recommended.

    such a great guy and friend.will never forget him. He’s a big UK fan and I m all about the cardinals ,but not even that stopped him from picking me up from work when I needed a ride …love and prayers to all the family.i know he will be missed!
