Leighann Spencer

Leighann Star Spencer, 19, Glasgow, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. The Barren County native was a homemaker, a lover of music, and a member of the First Assembly of God in Glasgow.
Survivors include her infant daughter Adalyn; her fiancé Johnny Hoffman; her mother Jessica Barrett Jones and husband John; two sisters: Courtney Spencer and Gracie Spencer; Grandparents: Gary and Sue Pruitt; great-grandparents: Kimmel Bailey and Marjorie Pruitt; special cousins: Hunter Young and Sophia Barrett; and several other family members.
She was preceded in death by grandparents James and Betty Spencer; great-grandfather, Robert Bailey; and an aunt, Carrie Lee Barrett.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses.
In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are required.
For those who cannot attend, the service will be streamed live at www.facebook.com/hatchersaddler or you may listen to the service while in our parking lot by tuning to 89.1 FM.

Although I do not know this beautiful lady, o felt the need to comment here.
Such a sadness losing a young one especially a young mother. God be with her family and all her friends for she is among angels now at peace and rejoicing with the Lord!!!
Remember she has not gone forever, She is just there waiting for you to join her when your time has come.

Leighann I love you so much baby girl.. I miss all of our talks that we would have at random times.. I hope that you got to witness your own funeral from heaven because it was a full house.. Everyone loves you… I’m gonna have to help Jessie and John when they need me to just be there for support and that goes for Gracie and Courtney too.. and you’d be so proud of Johnny…. He loves you so so much girl.. He’s a really good Dad to Adalyn…. I hope that you can be our Angel and watch over us everyday!!! I love you sweetheart!!!!!!!!??????????????
