          Emma Christine Atnip, 86, Glasgow, died Wednesday, August 01, 2007, at Barren County Health Care Center.  A daughter of the late Aaron and Hattie Williams Lohden, she was a homemaker and a retired cafeteria worker at Barren County High School.  She was a member of the South Fork Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV. 

          Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Just and husband, Paul, of Bowling Green, and Charlotte Steenbergen and husband, Mike, of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Todd Steenbergen and wife, Ann, and Julie Smith and husband, Brent, all of Glasgow; Sara Just and Trey Just both of Bowling Green; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Steenbergen, Spencer Steenbergen and Emma Kate Smith; two sisters, Barbara Watson of Jeffersonville, and Wastella Hoover of Bowling Green; two brothers, Carl Lohden of Jeffersonville and Hollis Lohden of Robertsville, MO; several nieces and nephews. 

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Atnip; three sisters, Dorothy Lohden Duke, Shirley Lohden Lowe and Janie Pearl Lohden; two brothers, J.C. Lohden and Charles Lohden. 

          Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.  Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
