Thomas Franklin Foster, 85, Glasgow , died Monday, December 01, 2003 , at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . A native of Barren County , he was the son of the late Beulah Morton and Samuel Thomas Foster. He was a former co-owner of J & F Furniture and later served as manager of the F. P. Williams Furniture Co., from which he retired. He was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and the Allen Lodge # 24 F. & A.M.
Survivors include one daughter, Jane Allen Lyons and her husband, Dale, of Elizabethtown ; two grandchildren, Chuck Lyons of Louisville and Dala Louthan and her husband, Brian, of Hodgenville; two great-grandchildren, Kellie and Austin Louthan; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two wives, Wyvurn Opal Brown Foster and Thelma Litsey Foster; and by one sister, Mary Allen Webb.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery . Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
