Jennie Byrd Scott, 78, Glasgow, died Tuesday at the Glenview Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Marshall R. and Magdalene Eudy Byrd. She was a retired employee of Ky. Pants Co. and a member of the Slick Rock Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Tommy C. Byrd and Marshall E. Byrd of Hiseville, Harold Byrd of Big Meadow; six sisters, Lavern Wilson of Columbus, IN, Alveda Jessie of Cave City, Betty Stephens of Hiseville, Ann Honeycutt, Mary Ballard and Emma Lee Ballard all of Glasgow; four step-sons; Barry Scott of Lexington, Ky., Darrell Scott of Bowling Green, Ky. Mitchell Scott of Bowling Green, Ky. and Rodney Scott of Russell Springs, Ky.; four step-daughters; Janice Scott of Nashville, Tn., Judy Evans of Cave City, Ky., Charlotte Marr of Bowling Green, Ky., and Tammy Schweitzer of Ledgard, Ct.; 12 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maze Scott; one brother, Don Byrd; two sisters, Ruby Garmon and Susie Ennie; and one half brother, James Jones.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
