Dorothy Jones
February 12, 1938 ~ April 6, 2014
Dorothy Elmore Jones, 76, of Glasgow, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Barren County Health Care Center. She was a daughter of the late George Bryant and Ida Waller Elmore.
She is survived by her son and his family: Allen and Amy Page Jones and grandchildren, Ellie and Asa Jones of Eighty Eight, Kentucky; one sister: Beatrice Williams of Temple Hill, Kentucky; one sister-in-law: Maurice Elmore of Glasgow, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gillis Kilgore Jones and her infant son, George Bryant Jones, one brother: Edward Elmore; four sisters: Gladys Kerney, Margaret Vaughn Eatmon, Ruth Hale and Maureen Chapman.
Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
I Have Alot Of Good Memories With Her That I Will Cherish. My Prayers Are With Her Family.

I just want to say i love Dorothy as a mother , when i was young she was always there when i needed her, my heart brakes for Allen and family… Part of me will be with u I love and going to miss you so much ..RIP momma Dorthy….This is one Birthday i will never forget to u see u leave us , I will be out of town and it hurts so much i cant be there but know you are in my heart forever….
ALAN I JUST SEEN IT IN THE NEWSPAPER. AND I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. YOUR MOM WAS A VERY SWEET LADY. I LOVED LIVING BY HER SHE WAS ALWAYS A FUNNY LADY. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF US THAT KNEW HER. HEAVEN HAS GAINED A SPECIAL ANGEL. ALWAYS WILL LOVE YOU DOROTHY.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dorothy was such a warm and caring person. She always had a smile on her face, and made everyone feel welcome in her home. Dorothy loved being around people, and I cherish the memories that I have of the many hours that she and I spent talking and laughing. Please know that Dorothy lives on in the hearts of each and every person who knew her. My prayers are with each of you during this time of loss.

so sorry to hear about dorthey she was a very sweet lady met her at nursing home where my aunt was at they became good friends my prayers are with the family at this time
Mr. Allen I am so sorry about the passing of your mother,you will forever have my prayers that you will CONTINUE to keep your Faith in God.
