Lonnie Edgar Davis, 84, of Glasgow, died Friday April 4, 2014 at his residence. He was a son of the late Will B. and Eula Davis and husband of the late Minnie Gaye (Bowles) Davis. He was retired owner/operator of Davis and Sons produce for many years and a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by five children: Tim Davis “Sherri”, Dwayne Davis “Tonja” all of Glasgow, Shelia Forrest “Doug” of Cave City, Twona Gaunt “Barry”, and Kim Bowles “Steven” both of Bowling Green; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Rondal Davis of Edmonton and Kenneth Davis of Glasgow; two sisters: Lillian “Lynn” West of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mary Helen “Marilyn” Loscombe of Bowling Green; several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by one brother Paul Davis.

Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Alternate of sympathy make take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or the Gideon’s.
