Charles E. Jones, 89, Glasgow, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. A native of Hiseville, he was a son of the late William Clarence and Carrie Freeman Jones. He was a veteran of WWII, having served as a member of the U. S. Army Air Corps and worked in the airplane factory in Baltimore. Later, he was an employee of the Allison Corporation in Indianapolis. He was a member of Hiseville Baptist Church and the Hiseville Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include one niece, Delane Youpatoff of Owensboro; three nephews, Robert Jones of Louisville, William Jones and Terry Jones both of Hiseville; one great niece, Melanie Ward; five great nephews, Jeff, Doug, Chad, Josh, and Adam Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Cox Jones.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Masonic services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
