Marvin Charles Ballard, 22, Glasgow, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Vanderbilt Medical Center from injuries sustained in an accident.  A native of Barren County, he was a truck driver for Mid-South Recycling, a member of the Locust Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Shotgun Riders.

Survivors include his wife, Brandi; one son, Memphis Cole Ballard; his parents, Phillip J. and Rebecca S. Ballard of Glasgow; one brother, J.P. (Jane) Ballard of Glasgow; one sister, Jody Ballard of Glasgow; maternal grandmother, Mary Williams of Scottsville; paternal grandmother, Emma Lee Ballard of Glasgow; parents-in-law, Ronnie and Joy Childers and Paul Brown all of Glasgow; three nieces; one nephew; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charlie Williams and Marvin Ballard.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Locust Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
