Mildred Atherton, 77, Glasgow, died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at the Barren County Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Coy and Ella Thompson McClellan, a member of the Glasgow Baptist where she was secretary and prior member of the church choir.
She is survived by five nephews: William C. Barr and David H. Barr, Jr. of Owensboro, KY., Steven R. Atherton, Dave T. Atherton and Marty Atherton all of Indiana.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Faye Atherton and one sister Lula C. Barr.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Glasgow Baptist Church.
