Anthony Joe Walden
Anthony Joe Walden 51, Glasgow, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at T.J. Samson Hospital. He is the son of Joe David Walden and Geralean Anderson (Robert). He was employed by Dollar General Corporation and worked at the Haywood store location.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Lisa Walden. Two sons: Johnathon Walden (Kayla) and Nick Walden; one granddaughter Addilynn Walden; one brother James Anderson; two sisters Donna Stinson and Briana Anderson.
He is preceded in death by two brothers Michael and William Anderson
Funeral service will be at 6:00pm Tuesday April 2, 2024 at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will began after 1pm on the day of the service.
Anthony, you will be greatly missed! We grew up together… You were the best man in mine and Michael’s wedding. I remember when you met Lisa and how fast you fell in love with her. We had our children together and raised them to later become friends. I can’t imagine the pain you are feeling Lisa, but I know he loves you with all his heart. He was a Godly man and we had many talks about God even as teenagers. Heaven took a good one. All my prayers Lisa for you John Nick and Addy! Gerlean know that my prayers are with you and the siblings! Heaven gained a good one!!
Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of Anthony’s passing. We attended several Glasgow City school systems together and were good friends. He will be missed by all that new him. If you need anything just send me a message and I’ll do all that I can. You, the children and the rest of the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
