Wayne Vincent

          Wayne Vincent, 75, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the T J Samson Community Hospital.  A native of Clinton County, he was the son of the late Ernest Cordell Vincent and Della Simpson.  He was a farmer and truck driver, and attended the Gethsemane Baptist Church.  He was a devoted husband and father who loved his family and who also loved attending tractor pulls.

          Survivors include his wife Wanda; three daughters: Michelle Lee Froedge (Mike) of Edmonton, Jo Sanders (Allan) of Cave City, and Kim Dennison of Glasgow; four grandchildren: Eric Froedge, Morgan Garrett, Hayden Dennison, and Shiloh Dennison; one brother Joe Vincent (Darlene) of Hiseville; two sisters: Diane Garmon (Arvest) of Knob Lick and Shirley Deckard (Roy) of Glasgow; two brothers-in-law: Larry Houchens and Johnny Byrd; a sister-in-law, Carla Houchens; several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Gary Vincent and Melvin Vincent; and three sisters: Donna Clark, Wanda Tyler, and Letha Byrd.

          Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
