Richard Clay Nunn

Richard Clay Nunn, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Glenview Health Care Center. He was a son of the late Garnett Christopher Nunn and Irene Carter Nunn. Richard was a lifelong resident of Glasgow, Ky and worked for various companies throughout the years throughout the country. Richard loved UK Basketball, horses, Nascar, Stock Car, VHF/DVD movies.  Avid collector of all different unique collectible’s guns, knives, watches, model cars.  If you saw or met Richard, he always had a Chocolate Tootsie roll sucker in his mouth. He loved to talk and go eat breakfast every morning at with the Hardy’s Social Breakfast Group in Glasgow, Ky. 

He is survived by his children: Richard Wayne Nunn of Nashville/Florida wife Tyra, Sandy Kay Richey Glasgow, Ky spouse Steve, Timothy Clay Nunn, Stepson Rodney Dale Payne Louisville, Ky wife Elissa, Jerry Glen Nunn of Glasgow, Ky wife Melissa. Grandchildren: Jennifer husband Chip, Scottsville, Jason Richey Glasgow, Chris Nunn Nashville, TN, Nicholas Payne, Jack Payne Louisville Ky, Clay Nunn, Luke Nunn, Spencer Nunn, Olivia Nunn Glasgow, Ky. Great Grandchildren: Taylor Murley wife Brooke, Faith Murley spouse Dakota, Neil Murley, Kaylee Arterburn spouse Jocob all of Scottsville, Ky, Aviona Grace Nunn of Glasgow, Ky. Great Great Grandchildren: Collin, Rylin, Addie Murley, Hadley Melton, Evelyn, Logan Arterburn, Scottsville, Ky.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by His grandparents on both sides, his only sister Carol Nunn, and his two ex-wives’ mothers of his children.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Poplar Log Cemetery. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
