One Entry for Martha Francis Harrison

  1. Sandra (Sandi) Gorin says:

To lose my best friend is akin to losing my own family. Martha was the sister I never had, a friend through life’s up’s and down’s. We shared a love of history and genealogy; she is the one who taught me about Barren County. We traveled many miles seeking old cemeteries and recording the information. Many times that took us over barbed wire fences and through undergrowth over our heads. We were both only children, we both loved horses and cats and dogs. She knew the name of every wildflower, every road in Barren County from her years of trail riding. We laughed together, we cried together.

Martha, dear friend, you will never be forgotten. My daughters Kris and Shelley, loved you dearly. You blessed our lives and I will miss you forever.
