Walter Glenn Robinson

Walter Glenn Robinson, 90, Glasgow, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2023 at his residence. He was the son of the late Alvis Luther and Willie Sutton Robinson. He worked for Phillip Morris for 47 years. He was a pro bowler. He loved traveling to Dale Hollow Lake. He was of Baptist faith.

     He is survived by his loving wife Hazel Jolly Robinson; two sons: David Robinson (Joy), and John Davis; five daughters: Donna Lister, Susan Robinson, Janice Manus, Dianna Staggs (Ed) and Cindy Smith; five sisters: Hazel Tackett, Clara Nell Lucas, Ruth Andrews, Betty Reid and Shelia Brockette. He is also survived by many grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends and neighbors who he loved dearly.  

     In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Imelda Robinson. Two sons: Jerry Wayne Robinson Sr., and Kenneth Robinson: two Sisters Helen Harper and Linda Shrum: two brothers Billy and Buddy Robinson.

Graveside service will be held Friday October 27, 2023 at 3:00pm Eastern time at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be 8:30 am to 11:00 am Friday, October 27, 2023 at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family has asked donations be made to T.J. Samson Hospice.
