Charles Polson

          Charles Thomas Polson, 85, Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the T J Samson Community Hospital.  Born January 25, 1938 in Hiseville, he was the son of the late Charles Terry Polson and Leona Ellis Polson.  He was a retired service technician for Western Kentucky Gas Company; a former member of 623rd National Guard; and a member of the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

          Survivors include one daughter Alicia Scott and husband Mike of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; two grandchildren: Susan Beth Scott of Cape Girardeau and Ramsey Scott and wife Cayla of Jacksonville, Florida; one great-grandchild, Charlie Scott; two sisters: Lena Joyce Bunch and Betty Saltsman; several nieces and nephews.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna Grace Ramsey Polson and one sister, Doris Barrick.

          Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
