Wanda Kay Smith

          Wanda Kay Smith, 70, Glasgow, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on April 27, 1953 to the late Benjamin and Christine Wright Patrick.  She was a homemaker who had a great sense of humor and a love for shopping.  She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished the time she was able to spend in caring for her granddaughter Brittany.

          Survivors include her daughter Stacy Myers (Phillip); three grandchildren: Brittany Myers, Corey Myers, and Katlyn Myers (Dillion Busey); four great-grandchildren: Nollan Grey Busey, Kayson Ray Busey, Matthew, and Rosie Myers; two brothers: William Patrick and Daryl Patrick (Marla); three sisters: Anna Francis Houchens (Billy), Janie McCorkle (David), and Marcella Frazier; a special nephew David Patrick (Becky); special cousins: Louise Houchens (Eugene) and Charles Patrick; along with several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband Billy Ray Smith; a son, Billy Ray Smith Jr.; a sister, Doris Ann Patrick; and her parents-in-law, Delsie and Arthur Smith.

          Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated toward funeral expenses and should be made directly to the funeral home.
