Herbert Blaies, Jr., 92, Glasgow, died Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his residence. Born September 30, 1930 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Herbert Blaies, Sr. and Mary Margaret Brown Blaies. He was a retired engineer at Ford Motor Company and a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife Margaret Sue Brooks Blaies.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Dad, I love every minute we were able to spend together. I will treasure our conversations for all of my life. I already can’t stand that you are gone! I am going to miss your wisdom and support! I am here, and I will cry, but then I will remember all the times we laughed, and I will be ok…just like you told me?. Please hug Craig for me????. I love you Daddy O!
