Johnny H. Jessie

Johnny H. Jessie entered into rest on 10/24/2022 after a lengthy illness. A native of Barren County, KY,  he was born on 5/9/1941 in Hiseville. He was a member of the Samson Street Church of God. Johnny was the son of the late Charlie & Polly Jessie of Hiseville, KY.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jessie of Glasgow; 1 son: Gary Jessie and wife Loretta of Glasgow; 1 stepson: Stacy and wife Tabatha Williams of Glasgow; 2 daughters: Jan and husband Alfred Hishmeh of Glasgow, Misty and husband Jeremy Ferreira of Glasgow; 10 grandchildren: Amanda Jones, Josh Jessie, Trey Ferreira, Koby Ferreira, Candace Bartley, James Williams, Brianna Williams, Alyssa Williams, Emily Williams, and Kyle Hishmeh; 4 great-grandchildren: John Wayne Jessie, Peyton Jessie, Shea Jones, and Brayden Bartley; 2 brothers: Les Jessie and Joe B. Jessie of Louisville; one sister, Nina Pearl Jessie Young; several nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Goo Jessie, Pete Jessie, James Jessie, Raymond Jessie, and Lonnie Jessie; and 4 sisters: Cindy Jessie Martin, Pauline Jessie Morgan, Mattie Jessie Gass, and Nora Jessie Funnell.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
