Maurice McNeill

Maurice McNeill, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022 at his residence. He was a son of the late Archie and Dorothy McNeill. He was born on the family farm in Newbury, Ontario.
He is survived by his wife: Alice Kristi McNeill; four children: Karen Linderman (Henry), Dianne Acton (David), Timothy Doyle (Darlene) and Matthew McNeil; eight grandchildren: Renee Linderman/Caga, Stephanie Linderman, Joshua Douglas Doyle, Miranda Elizabeth Doyle-Sofer, Andrew Acton, Stephen Acton, Sarah Linderman and Amy Acton/Selbig; twelve great-grandchildren: Chrystelle Linderman, Ethan Linderman, Nicolas Caga, Brynnlee Acton, Isaac Acton, Arya Selbig, Ava Linderman, Ezekiel Acton, Ethan Doyle, Mason Sofer, Jesse Sofer and Lila Selbig; one sister: Ruby Klassen; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings: Ruth, Bruce, Keith, Ray and Lloyd.
Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with lunch to follow at the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church. After lunch you are welcome to go with the family to visit the gravesite in the Bowles Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Monday until time for services at the funeral home.
Uncle Maury was a great man who highly respected and loved. My condolences to Kristi and all the family. I have so many fond memories of Uncle Maury and Aunt Jo and some of the kids, my cousins Tim and Darlene, Matt, and his other son, Miles McNeill, as well as Karen and Henry and girls, wonderful memories from Michigan to Florida.
