Robert Lee Jessie, 82, Glasgow, died Friday, March 25, 2022 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Metcalfe County, he was the son of the late Joe Henry Jessie and Jewell Kathleen Fields Jessie. He was a retired mechanic for Barren County Schools Bus Garage and a member of the Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Cheryl Jessie Brooks and husband Terry, and Cindy Jessie Martin and husband Joey all of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Erica Denny, Emily Napier and husband Trevor, and Ellen Denny all of Glasgow, Dylan Martin and wife Lindsey of Bowling Green, and Grayson Martin of Murray, KY; one aunt, Dorene Fields of Glasgow.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beula Mae Robertson Jessie.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continue Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
