George “Joe” Green

George “Joe” Daniel Green, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late Chris Elvis and Virginia Irene Runyon Green. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Linda Mathews Green; one daughter: Melissa Jo Krayenhagen (Edward); four grandchildren: Rebecca Krayenhagen, Sarah Krayenhagen, Adam Krayenhagen and Tristan Krayenhagen; two sisters: Mary Ann Oliver and Delores Payne; two nieces: Toni Stogdill and Sherry Harper; three nephews: Jeff Bowles, Terry Stogdill and Anthony Cherry.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son: Jody Green.
Funeral will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday until time for services.
