Sarah Ann Houchens Nichols, 79 of Glasgow, Kentucky was born January 19, 1943. Sarah was a member of Canaanland Baptist Church in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Verda Mae Robertson Houchens. Sarah was a dedicated employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital for 33 years. She loved her T. J. family.

She is survived by two daughters, Trish Botts of Horse Cave, Kentucky and Gloria Harris of Edmonton, Kentucky, three grandsons, Michael Nichols of Glasgow, Bro. Joseph Harris (Heather) of Edmonton, Dylan Harris (Jerrica) of Edmonton, son in law, Greg Harris, of Edmonton, five great-grandchildren, Samara Lyle, Aiden Harris, Emery Cowan, Joseph Levi Harris and Layla Mae Harris. Brothers and Sisters, Margie Brewster (J.A.), Patty Bridgeman (Art), Paul Houchens (Jean) Carol Rich (Darrell), Eddie Houchens and Marcie Robertson, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger W. Nichols and son, Timothy W. Nichols, one sister, Nell Bishop and brothers, Frank, Johnny, Bill and James Houchens.

Funeral will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial at the Bon Ayr Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am Wednesday until time for services. Special thanks to T. J. Samson Community Hospital (family) and Hospice Care, Dr. Kiser.
