James Travis Smith, 42, of Trenton, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.  He was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky, on June 17, 1979, to James Robert and JoAnn Smith. Travis was a 5th generation dairy farmer and loved Holsteins almost as much as he loved Becky and his boys.  His favorite past-time was spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed watching basketball and cheering on his Hilltoppers (WKU) and Wildcats (UK).

Travis was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda.  He is survived by his parents Robert and JoAnn, his wife Becky, sons Cooper and Will, his brother Matt Smith (Albina) of Chesapeake, VA, in-laws Ron and Sharon Cooper of Louisville, KY, sister-in-law Jenny Allison (Jessi) of Bloomfield, KY, as well as nieces and nephews Jaxon and Shelby Cox, Sara Smith, and Andrew, Emily, Jennifer and Jessica Allison.

There will be a visitation with the family on Monday, February 21, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Watson-Milton Funeral Home, Trenton, FL.

A Celebration of Travis’ Life will be held on Saturday, February 26, at 3:00 pm at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home in Glasgow, KY. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 12:00 noon.
