Cosby Ray Taylor was born on February 18, 1937; he was strong stout and sassy. He grew up running the fields of Peoria, Illinois, chasing rabbits, riding his neighbors horses, hunting, fishing, swimming and doing exceedingly well in school. He grew up to be a mentally fair minded and physically strong man and was a veteran in the United States Marine Corp, which he was very proud of. Cosby Ray Taylor was a helicopter mechanic in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1957 to 1961. He cried when the flag passed in parades and every time he saw it hoisted or taken down. He was a beloved electrician in Palmyra, Indiana where his passions were woodworking, hunting, fishing, talking and laughing with his friends. This beautiful man passed peacefully in his sleep on December 28, 2021 at his residence he shared with his son who was also his primary care giver and best friend. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter Amber Marie Taylor, both is parents, several brothers and a baby sister. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Rossi of Scottsville, Kentucky and his son Tim Taylor of Glasgow, Kentucky. Further relatives that loved him dearly were his sister Brenda Bennett, Russell Springs, Kentucky and his nieces and nephews.
