Louie Franklin Houchens, Sr. 72, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his residence. He was a son of the late Emil Morgan and Jesse Smith Houchens.

Survivors include two sons: Louie Franklin Houchens, Jr. (Jennifer) and Donald Lee Smith, Jr., three daughters: Anna Marie Taylor (Marris), Lori Ann Inker and Lisa Gordon (Wendell): nine grandchildren: Courtney Lyons, Tyler Young, Scott Shaw, Ryan Shaw, Thomas Shaw, Chasity Shaw, Destiny Houchens, Trenton Houchens and Dalton Houchens, twelve great-grandchildren, three sisters: Patty Wilson, Linda Faye Houchens (Larry), Rosie Steenbergen, six brothers: Billy Wayne Houchens (Frances), William Merle Houchens, Donnie Houchens (Penny), Roger Houchens, Eugene Houchens (Louise) and Wendell Houchens,

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Houchens and Harold Wayne Houchens, one sister, Evelyn Houchens.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hopewell Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
