Christa Lynn Doty

In Loving Memory of Christa L. Yarnell, later Christa L. Doty, 51 of Park City, Kentucky, passed away in her home August 25, 2021. Born July 11, 1970 in Columbus, Indiana, she was a daughter of Mikel L. Yarnell and the late Karen S. Miller Yarnell. She married Steven R. Doty, Jr. on October 1, 1990 at the court house in Columbus, Indiana. Christa graduated from Hauser High School in 1988. Christa loved spending time with her family as well as doing things like, fishing, camping, making crafts and watching horror movies, especially Stephen King. Christa always had a generous heart and always tried to help everyone she met, she will always be remembered for her vast generosity by all who knew here.
She left behind her husband, Steven R. Doty, Jr. along with 3 living children, Shay, Dakota and Breeanna, along with 7 grandchildren, Landon, Rhiannah, Ryan, Sierra, Nikiah, Dean and her unborn granddaughter Mariah due 01/18/2022 all of Kentucky. As well as her Father, Mikel L. Yarnell and her brother, Jeffery M. Yarnell both of Columbus, Indiana.
Besides her mother she was preceded in death by a daughter Danielle R. Doty.
The family hopes to have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mike, Jeff, and all of Christa’s family. You should know that Christa was truly the queen of slumber parties when we were in elementary school. My absolute best slumber party members were at he house growing up, out at the campsite at the creek, and in the old converted school house down the road. She was fun, creative, and a great friend. I am so sorry for your loss and send condolences from the Hauser class of 1988.
