Paul Roger Simmons, 88, of Glasgow, KY died Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home in Glasgow. Born in Edmonson County, he was the son of the late Frank and Zelma Prader Simmons. He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Glasgow.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Brenda Lou Keeton Simmons; three sons: Tony (Rebecca) , Roger (Mona) , and Shawn (Dina) ; two daughters: Sharon “Cookie” and Kimberly; 10 Grandchildren: Crissy, Dustin, Jason, Julie, Amanda, Joshua, Andy, Cody, Hunter, and Charlie; 14 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren: one brother, Eunice Simmons; his special fur babies: Harley, Abby, KeKe, and Molly; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Ed, Arthur, Bobby, Jewell, 4 sisters: Ruby, Elizabeth, Margie, and Marie.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed live on our facebook page–www.facebook.com/hatchersaddler.

In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are recommended.
