Doris J. Warf

Doris J. Warf, 87, Glasgow, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the NHC Healthcare Center. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Cora Shader Staples. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include three sons: Glen Warf of Edmonton, Todd Warf and his wife Naomi and Steve Warf and his wife Penny all of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren: Rene’ Blakley, Brandon Warf, Will Warf, Brett Warf, Cole Warf, Tabitha Taylor, Autumn Brumley, and Tyler Warf; 12 great-grandchildren: Luke Manning, Luna Warf, Katie Beth Warf, Lacey Mae Warf, Lexie Bush, Kennedy Saltsman, Reagan Curtis, Zoey Brumley, Zadiee Brumley, Zeighlyn Brumley, Emily Warf, and Tyler Warf; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Warf; a daughter-in-law, Leann Warf; three sisters: Velma Smith, Frances Garner, and Mary Lee Groce; three brothers: J.P. Staples, Earl Thomas Staples, and Rev. Richard Staples.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. A walk-through visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

In keeping with the Governor’s recommendations for safety during funeral and memorial services, the number of attendees in the funeral home at any given time will be limited; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary; and face coverings are required.

    So sorry for y’all’s loss. Prayers to the whole family. She was such an amazing and sweet and loving woman. So glad I got to meet her and spend time with her. She will be missed!
