Robert Lee Duvall, 66, Glasgow, died Thursday, December 17, 2015, at his residence. He was a son of the late Henry and Lucille Short Duvall. He was a retired operator at Dairymen, Inc. and after his retirement, he worked as a lawn mower repairman, a job he dearly loved. On October 1, 2003, he joined the Glasgow Faith Church where he also served as Trustee until the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife Betty; two step-children: Lori Mosier and husband Eddie of Hiseville, and Mikey Hurt and wife Leslie of Knob Lick; three brothers: Earl Duvall, Bill Duvall and wife Sheila, and James Duvall and wife Hazel all of Glasgow; three sisters: Lillie Runyon and husband David, Judy Green and husband Mitchell, and Sue Carroll and husband Claude all of Glasgow; seven step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his first wife Pat Lane Duvall, and a sister-in-law: Louise Duvall.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Glasgow Faith Church with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

    A dear friend and Brother in Christ went home to be with the Lord. He will be spending Christmas in Heaven this year. Roger and I loved Robert like one of our own brothers and we will miss him. He was such an inspiration to us both. A great worker in church and a man who loved his family and friends. We will always cherish his memory in our heart. Till we meet again Robert.
