February 21, 1938          ~          October 30, 2015

Ruby L. Emmert, 77, of Glasgow, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Eva Likens Meador. She was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son: William “Debra” Emmert; five daughters: Peggy “Anthony” Jones, Bonnie Owens, Pam “Jeff” Harrell, Penny “Kevin” Abner and Connie Jessie; one sister: Shirley Mayes; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: John William Emmert, Jr.; one daughter: Sandra K. Bragg; one son: Steven Wayne Emmert.

Funeral will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

    Ma Ruby was just one of women live on Highland Ave all the mother’s live on that street watch every child grow up.Ma love her like my on grandmother she always smiling and she love all her grand babies even little one live over there.She was great mom,grandma,and friend that I will never forget and miss her my prayers are with the family R.I.P (Ma Ruby gone but will not be for gotten.

    I was very sorry to hear about Miss Ruby. I never met her, but I have met her grandson Johnny and I know he loved her very much. He requested prayer for her and Jesus has answered his prayer. His grandmother is now where she was striving to be. May all her children and grandchildren continue to be blessed by her love and memories that will forever be in their heart.
