May God comfort you in the days ahead You are in my thoughts and prayers When I heard of Harold’s passing; my mind immediately went to long ago days, when we all gathered at our Grandmothers on Sunday afternoons . We would run, laugh and enjoy being together as kids
What a hope that God has provided, that one day we can all be together again! May God provide you peace, strength and his unfailing love.

Uncle Wayne, Wanda Gaye, and Myra Glenn,
Mother nature is going to keep me from coming down. I am very sorry for your loss and all of you have been in my prayers. Harold is safe now and at peace and I hope that gives you comfort. I am sure when we are all together in Heaven Harold will have found an electric fence and will be waiting for me and Barbara Ann with a blade of grass to shock us just as he did when we were kids. LOL. Tim will always cherish the beautiful knife that he got from Harold. He shows everyone the knife and how talented Harold was with his artistic ability. I will miss him greatly. RIP Harold
We all loved you more than you will ever know.
    Your cousin Holly

  8. Jerad Crowe says:

I had only known Harold for a few years, but it didn’t take long to realize how great of a person he was. Harold was always upbeat and in a good mood when I seen him no matter what was going on. He was a giving person, he would have given you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He was a master in his craft, i hadn’t ever seen such beautiful craftsmanship in a knife before, each one different than the one before, he made me realize the art involved in each knife. There are so many things i could say about how great Harold Shirley was but I’m sure you all already know, he was a great friend to not only my father Leroy Crowe but to me as well. I will miss him and will always cherish that I was fortunate to have had him in my life. God has a really wonderful man in heaven now. R.I.P.
