Our sincere sympathy to her family & her extended family of friends. We loved Jo-Ann so much. Our memories are flooded with joy in all the silly things we did together over the last 30 years. If there were a prank to be done she would instigate it. If there were some humor she would find it. If someone needed something she’d find a way. From New Year’s eve parties to golf trips – from Sequence to Dominoes Jo-Ann was always up for another round. On special occasions she even gave out orange lipstick kisses. Jo-Ann Tolle will be missed but her spirit lives on in our hearts. God loved her. I hope I will be up to attending the service for her on Monday following my own surgery last Wednesday. So glad I visited her on Saturday before she died. Cherish the memories.

  18. Darlene Eisenstein says:

It is with so much sadness that I write this note. Jo-Ann was an inspiration to all. Our three children Jeffrey, Marcia and Michael were so blessed to have her as their fifth grade teacher.
She was truly, without a doubt, a brilliant teacher who helped so many children. She challenged all students to do their best.
I remember telling Jo-Ann that she could not retire until my last child had her as a teacher.
All the kids loved her ORANGE KISSES! And the paper mache spring baskets!
She truly made her mark at South Green!
I also appreciated her good sense of humor.
May she forever rest in peace.
    With sincere sympathy,
