Glen Johnson, 67, Glasgow, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Hiseville, he was a son of the late Willie Homer and Katherine Grider Johnson. He was a retired farmer and small engine repairman, a motorcyclist, a drag racer, and a member of the Baptist Faith. He was an avid fisherman, well-known to his friends as “Crappie Johnson”.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn; one daughter: Leslie Carol Green and husband Richard of Glasgow; one son: Todd Johnson and wife Sandra of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Joshua Green, Kaitlyn Lynn, Nick Day, Shelby Johnson, and Ruby Johnson; one aunt: Margaret Bennett of Chicago; two nieces: Debbie and Wanda of Chicago; and a cousin whom he considered the same as a brother: Junior Bennett of Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: James Ray Johnson; and his other cousin that was considered the same as a brother as well: Wes Bennett.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
