His spirit beamed miles around him. He made me laugh every time we were together. I am proud to have known him as I am sure you are proud to have had him as a son, brother and grandson. He is already missed by hundreds of lives he touched.

What is Life? It is the flash of a firefly on a summer’s night. It is a pinch of dust tossed to the winds. It is the buffalo’s breath on a cold day. It is the single beat of a pulsar from the outer limits of the Milky Way. It is an instant , the flicker of a sparrow’s wing. Only the Earth and Sky will last long. Only the Sky and Earth and the Sun and Moon and others stars will be here when everything else is gone.

We loved you so much Scottie. All MY Relations!!!

On behalf of the General Studies Section… we are sorry for the loss of Scottie and offer his family our deepest sympathy. Scottie was a good trainer, a mentor, and a friend that was very helpful to us all. Scottie always made himself available to help others and didn’t ask for anything in return for his effort. Scottie had compassion for those he worked with, was creative with his thoughts, a responsible person, and showed sincerity with all people he encountered. His company and joyfulness humor will be missed!

To the family of Mr. Saltsman I am saddened for your loss. Mr. Saltsman was an absolutely dedicated and successful instructor. My class, Class 420 had a blast with him and he taught us much. In your time of loss know this, little towns all across the Bluegrass are safer because of Mr. Saltsman’s dedication. People are helped, bad guys are arrested, and Officers are safe while doing this because of Mr. Saltsman. I and many others go home at night because of the things he taught us. GOD bless you in this time of hurt, may the love of Jesus give you strength and comfort.

He was a joy to be around and had away about him that would just brighten up your day. He was very intelligent. He was always ready to lend a helping hand if you needed it. He may be gone but not forgotten.I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know him. I know he was a member of the band and was in Beta and several other clubs in school. May god wrap his arms around you in this time of need. I am truly sorry for your loss. God has gained a special man in heaven. Sincerely yours Karen Birge Eaton.
