Joe D. Houchens, 75, Glasgow, died Friday, September 07, 2012, at his residence. He was the son of the late Payton and Dorothy Lillian Taylor Houchens. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Gladys Houchens; one son: Ronnie Darrell Houchens; one daughter Teresa Jones and her husband Jimmy; on step-son: Richard Greene; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son Danny Wayne Morgan; one brother and three sisters.

Funeral will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 A. M. Sunday at the funeral home.

    I”m deeply saddn by the loss of your family member . I too loss my farther a year ago and its hard to let him go , but he will be at peace now and will have know more pain. My family and I went two long hard years of watching dad with his bad days and good days . I was glad I was there for him and will never regret that.
