Diana Shaw East, 62, formerly of Glasgow, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at her Shepherdsville residence, under the loving care of Hosparus and her family. A daughter of the late Henry and Marjorie Gass Shaw, she was a housekeeper at Wesley Manor in Shepherdsville, a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Shepherdsville, a member of YMCA; and was a member of Temple Baptist Church while in Glasgow.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck; one daughter, Denise Bowling (David) of Shepherdsville; two grandchildren, Dana Yager (Danny) of Louisville and David C. Bringham of Indiana; three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Nathan, and Colton; one sister, Henrietta McMillian of Shepherdsville; one brother, Larry Shaw (Charlene) of Glasgow; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus.

    Denise, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Diana was a wonderful lady and was so good to take care of my mothers home on Marion drive in Glasgow when Mother had to go to the nursing home. Our family will never forget her living there and takeing such wonderful care of it. I will miss her Christmas cards every year. You and your family are in our prayers.
