Ernest Depp Boston, 91, of Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital.  He was the son of the late Arlice Carlton “Carl” Boston and Euna Jones Boston.  He was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, a member of the Allen Lodge # 24 F.&A.M., and retired from Sorensens Manufacturing Company.  He was also a wrestling enthusiast, and an avid pool and card player with the Glasgow Senior Citizens that meet at Lera B. Mitchell Club House.

He is survived by three children: Julie Ann Garmon and her husband Larry, Tammy Lou Hurt and Timothy Depp Boston and his wife Kathy; seven grandchildren: Chadwick Brian Garmon, Angela Michelle Hurt Wells, Stephen Bennett Hurt, Kevin Michael Hurt, Heather Nicole Hurt, Chelsea Elizabeth Boston and Andrew Depp Boston; two great-grandchildren: Wesley Keith Hurt and Kinleigh Morgan Hurt; four step-great-grandchildren: Matthew Owen Poynter, Nina, Jude and Hope Wells; one sister, Mary Eugenia Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth Simmons Boston; one daughter, Judy Ann Boston; one brother, Arlice Boston.

Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Stephens officiating.  Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be after 10:00 A. M. Saturday at the funeral home.
