Nettie Jewell Arnold

March 14, 1914     ~     March 18, 2010

Nettie Jewell Arnold, 96, Vine Grove, formerly of Glasgow, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the Spring View Health & Rehab Center in Leitchfield. The daughter of the late Lucian Cartner Arnold and Mary Belle Harlan Arnold, she was a homemaker and a member of the Glasgow Bible Church. She was the widow of the late Rev. Robert Paul Arnold.

Survivors include one daughter, Wanda P. Collins and her husband, Bob, of Vine Grove; special friends, SFC Don Grinder, Missy Smith, Sherry Crell, Mike Van Name and Jim Miracle; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 noon Monday at the funeral home.

    Wanda, Sorry to hear that your mother has passed. She was special to my mother, I can remember going to her house and you living behind in the upstairs apartment, or the trips when your mom and dad came to Paxton to visit, I was always intrigued with how much she looked like my grandmother Flossie, but most of all she had the “Best Sense Of Humor)!!
