Howard Dean Seybert, 86 of Glasgow died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital . Born in Flint , Indiana , he was the son of the late Fred Seybert Sr. and Blanche Bowerman Seybert. Mr. Seybert was a retired Electrical Instructor and Supervisor at North Indiana Public Services Company (NIPSCO) for twenty five years. He was a Elder at the Earl Road Christian Church, former assistant Chaplain at the Westville Correctional Center, Minister at the Chestnut Grove Church in Breeding, KY, and most recently attended Coral Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include four step-children: Lindon Faull and his wife, Karmal of Vincennes, In., LaVelda Faull of Glasgow, LynDonna Nothstine and her husband, Barry, of Glasgow, Mary Abbott and her husband, Rick ,of Cave City . Three brothers, William “Bill” Seybert of White Pigeon Michigan , Philip Ross Seybert of Michigan, Fred Seybert Jr. of New Mexico. Two sisters, Lydia Whitenberg of White Pigeon, Michigan , Alice Jane Sherman of Sturgis , Mississippi . Eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Ruth Seybert.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 08, 2004 , at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Entombment will be in the Swan Lake Cemetery in Michigan City , Indiana . Visitation will begin after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
