Pearl Underwood, 97, Glasgow, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at the NHC Health Care Center. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late George Martin Jackson and Lou Ada Britt Jackson. She was a homemaker, a lifetime member of the Roseville Homemakers Club and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Smith of Nashville, Betty Kingrey and husband, Eugene, of Glasgow, Jo Pedigo and husband, John, of Cave City; one son, Tony Underwood and wife, Agnes, of Glasgow; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; one great-great grandchild; one step-great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Underwood; one sister, Betty Francis; four brothers, Robert Jackson, Thad Jackson, Bill Jackson and O.P. Jackson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
