Ruth Karen Schultz, 43, wife of Ronald Schultz and mother of Ronald Scott and Madison Caroline Schultz, all of Lucas, died Tuesday, December 17, 2002, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born December 2, 1959 in Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late William Froggett and the late Cassie Froggett Howard.

Other survivors include three brothers, William Radford “Bill” Froggett of Knob Lick, Jesse Froggett and his wife, Micki, and John Froggett and his wife, Mickie, all of Glasgow; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bennett (Flarance) Rich of Knob Lick; mother-in-law, Fran Schultz of New Jersey; four nieces, Amanda, Natasha, Haley and Ana Kate Froggett and one nephew, Greg Froggett all of Glasgow; two aunts, Mrs. James Robert (Dean) Hurt of Hiseville and Mozetta Clossman of Ohio; two uncles, Wendell Froggett and his wife, Nina, of Hiseville, and Jim Rich of Knob Lick.

The body will be cremated. Visitation will be at the Peters Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Lucas on Thursday, December 19, 2002 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at the church. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Red Cross.
