Dean Wilson Peaco, 85, North Race Street, Glasgow, died Wednesday at his residence. A native of Otis Field, Maine, he was a son of the late Ernest D. and Marle Whittom Peaco. He was a retired carpenter, road commissioner and hunting and fishing guide in Maine and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice; two daughters, Vera M. Emmitt and her husband, Floyd of Glasgow, and Christine Longley of Maine; one step-daughter, Linda Ridlon and her husband, C.L. of Maine; 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen J. Carpenter Peaco.

Memorial graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at the Rayville Church Cemetery in Otis Field, Maine. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
