James Robert Marshall

November 16, 1947          ~          April 1, 2016

James Robert “Bobby” Marshall, 68, of Cave City passed away at his residence Friday, April 1, 2016. He was a son of the late Robert and Myrtle Likens Marshall. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by two daughters: Angela “Ben” Chism and Latonya “Mike” Gray; three grandchildren: Cahshia Chism, Cohen Chism and Tanner Gray; four sisters: Loretta “Stanford” Matthews, Faye “Johnny” Hines, Brenda “Sherman” Garmon and Jo Ann Caffee.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brother-in-laws: Russell Caffee and Gilbert Harper.

Funeral will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Glasgow Chapter 20 DAV will provided military honors at the cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

    I was sorry to hear of Bobbys passing. I haven’t seen him in years since we moved away from Glasgow. He used to laugh at me when I was little and they kept me when Mom worked. He would watch Dark Shadows and I would hide behind the couch. He thought that was hilarious!! Praying for your your strength and the Lords comfort.
